This project was such a blast that I don’t even know where to start as far as explaining it goes!
Aniya and I hopped on a video call before we began working together, and I picked up instantly on her joyful, friendly vibe that leaves anyone in the room in a good mood. Not only that, but she was extremely talented behind the camera in capturing raw and honest moments. I wanted to bring all of this together in her logo along with her lovely family and passion for travel.
We always start by gathering an inspiration board that guides us for the rest of the brand. The mood, the vibe, even the imagery or text styles.
Primary Logo & Color Scheme
We then pick finalize the color scheme and begin working on approving the primary logo. We wanted to keep a serif, which implies that editorial feel, but left it in lowercase to remain more playful. I added in the 4 swoops to represent Aniya’s family members.
Living in Barbados and originally from Canada, it’s easy to see that Aniya is one for traveling. Not just personally but also as part of her business. We brought this to life with her sub-mark in which we referenced to a compass.
It was beyond a blast getting to know Aniya. She was wonderful to work with and I can not wait to see were she takes her business!
