If you have been following my work for awhile, you’ll know Adorne Artistry by the full rebrand and website we created for them last year (view post here). One of the prettier product based clients that I get to enjoy working with, Adorne Artistry’s owner and amazing makeup specialist Jessica, had been brainstorming ways to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey in our current home-town of Houston. She decided to pull together these lipsticks to sell online so she could donate the proceeds to helping those in Houston.
This week we got together to photograph the lipsticks and show off their beautiful pigments.
When brainstorming the style session, we knew that we wanted to reflect the same aesthetics as their brand: romantic, whimsical, ethereal, and beautiful. Jessica hand painted the boards, and I brought along some hand made papers by Farmette Press, and hand-dyed silk ribbons by Tono & Co. Insert some flowers which are a staple in her branding, and we were on our way! Keep scrolling to see a handful of the beauty product photography.
The hand written calligraphy was done by the fabulous Nib & Pixel.
Another project Adorne Artistry is working on, is putting together boxes full of beauty products for those who lost so much due to Hurricane Harvey in Houston. These Hurricane Harvey Beauty Boxes are full of wonderful self-care items including these clay soap bars by Herbivore Botanicals. While we were taking pictures of her Harvey Lipstick Trio, we decided to snap some shots of these clay bars she had just received plus some of her other favorite products by the company.
We only take on a select number of projects each year to make sure we dedicate all our attention, time, and talents to our clients.
